I became a mama 🥰

It has been the very best thing I have ever done, so much so of course, that I went on to have 6 more children! 🤣

I can barely believe my beautiful first born is now 15 years old!!

He is now definitely taller than me, even when I’m wearing my heels!

We took him for lunch at his favourite Pizza Express in Monmouth, the exact place where we have been celebrating his birthday since he was 2 years old! I save my Tesco Clubcard vouchers every year for this event!

And we finished the day of course, with his birthday cake. He had requested a Stranger Things cake this year, so I went for a Red Velvet cake with red/purple buttercream to get that sinister feel (he isn’t keen on cream cheese frosting), and decorated with an upside down drip effect (get it?!) in a red coloured white chocolate ganache, and used fondant & chocolate beans for the rest of the decor.

I maintain that the simplest looking cakes are the HARDEST!!!!!!
