The summer holidays seemed to be over in the blink of an eye, and suddenly we had six children going to school!

We really should get our own school bus allocated 🤣🤣 But instead it’s a round trip of 26 miles, twice a day 😬 in our BeauBus!

Drake’s has undertaken his first days at school in his stride – completely chilled out about the whole thing.

People used to always say to us that not putting out little ones in pre-school would make starting school much harder… but the opposite has actually been our experience. Our children who did attend a pre-school found the transition more challenging than those who stayed home with us the whole time. Security really does foster independence 🥰

It is strange they are now back, the house is SO quiet, especially when Eira is having her afternoon nap, but I know it’ll be half term before long, and then Christmas – and we love both these holidays as we do so much together 🧡
